Genus species: Armadillidium vulgare, Order: Isopoda (Pill Bug, potato bug or roly-poly) Pill bugs like to live in damp areas and feed on decaying vegetation. They have no known predators. Their exoskeleton resembles the shell of an armadillo which is how the genus name is derived. One of the 2008 Ugly Bug contestants.
