Hyperlinks (blue colored text that is underlined) are used to navigate to the desired topic or web site. This is accomplished by single clicking on the text with the mouse button (generally the left mouse button when using a multi button mouse). Once visited, a hyperlink will appear purple. If in doubt, it is easiest to find out if some text or image is a hyper link by placing the mouse cursor (generally an arrow or "I" icon) over the text or image. If the arrow changes to a hand with a finger pointing a link is present. Try it by placing the mouse cursor HERE. The Back Button found on the top menu bar of the web browser works as one would expect and will return you to previous pages you have visited. Since this browser makes use of frames the back and forward button affects the lower right frame only. The Reload/Refresh Button also found on the top menu bar of the web browser requests newer information than has been stored (cached) on your computer. If you believe that the current page is not displaying correct information clicking on the refresh button can sometimes help. Searching pages for text or text strings can be a useful technique on larger pages. To search using either Netscape or Internet Explorer use the Find command found under the Edit menu. Enter the text or string of text you are searching for and click on the find button.
