Why does blowing air over the top of a piece of paper make it go up instead of down?

ANSWER Blowing faster air over the top of a piece of paper creates change in air pressure above the paper. The faster air lowers the pressure while slower air below the paper remains higher and can then lift the the paper up just like a bird or plane wing lifts the bird or plane off the ground.
