Virtual Water Treatment Plant
In many cities, people can turn on their tap and instantly get clean, safe water for their household to use. But, where does the water come from and how does it get so clean?
Water purification plants collect and treat water using a step-by-step process. Each step plays an important role in removing chemicals, bacteria, and particles from the water.
Water treatment happens in two main stages: initial treatment and advanced treatment. All water starts with initial treatment, which makes it very clean. Advanced treatment adds extra steps to make the water even cleaner… so clean it's often more pure than bottled water!
