I spray to keep you away...

stinkbug

Genus species: Eleodes carbonarius, Order: Coleoptera (Darkling, Pinacate or Stink beetle)
The stink beetle is found in the Sonoran Desert and surrounding regions in the western U.S. and Mexico. The name Pinacate is derived from the Aztec word ‘pinacatl’ and means black beetle. In defense against predators, the stink beetle will stand on its head and squirt a noxious spray from its abdomen. Some larger species can spray 10-20 inches!
