How to Play

The Skeleton Anatomy Viewer has two modes. Explore to see the bones in a human skeleton at your own pace. Then, put your knowledge to the test in the Bones ID Game.

Explore the Skeleton

Look around the skeleton to get to know its parts and what each part does. Click on the body to take an x-ray. Drag the x-ray view box around the body to see different bones. If you want a closer look, click on the different magnifications in the x-ray box.

Bone ID Game

On the game menu, select what section of the body you’d like to focus on, and whether you want to identify the bones based on sight alone or with clues. As always, to start, click to take an x-ray of the area.

When you’re finished, you will receive a final score and can print a summary of your game results. Then, play again and try to improve your score!

Your score for the games is based on the following:

Click on the body to take an x-ray. At any time, you can move the x-ray box around the body by clicking and dragging it, or by clicking on the area of the body you want to view.
