Notre oursin pourpre se déplace dans l’aquarium de la même façon qu’il le ferait sur les rochers de l’océan. Tu peux voir sur la photo que l’oursin a fixé les ventouses de certains de ses ambulacres sur les cailloux. Cela lui permet de tirer son corps de leur coté. Les oursins se servent aussi de leurs piquants (appelés radioles) pour se déplacer, car ils savent les faire bouger grâce à des muscles puissants.
