Desert Survivor
Illustrated by: Sabine Deviche
Can your rattlesnake outlast the dry desert summer?
In this story-based game, you are a young rattlesnake learning to survive in a harsh desert environment. You'll search for food and water, avoid predators, and use smart strategies to cope with extreme heat and limited resources.
As you progress, your snake will grow and eventually produce offspring of its own. Your choices impact not only your snake's survival, but also the health and success of its young.
While playing, you'll learn how snakes use behavior, physiology, genetics, and epigenetics to survive. You'll also explore the balance between hydration and energy - sometimes gaining one means losing the other. Every decision involves trade-offs, just like in real ecosystems.
Will your choices, strategy, and a little luck be enough to survive in the desert?
