Summer/Fall 2013 Mystery Image
Okay, have we stumped you on this one? We decided it was time to give you a real test to see how good your guessing abilities are and also how creative you could be.
So what is it?
This is the anther of from a mesquite tree. What is an anther? We thought you might ask this question and so we have a great place for you to learn more about flowers and their parts. Oops that was a hint. The anther is part of a flower.
To learn more try this link to see what Dr. Landrum is looking at through a microscope in his laboratory. You can change the magnification and also see all the parts of a flower labeled - including the anther.
