After the press has been put together- place the rope around the entire press, push it all the way together (it's best to stand on it so it's closed tightly), and tie the rope tightly.
Now you need to find a warm dry place to let your cutting dry. Behind the refrigerator, and in the back window of a car are both good places. Leave it there for 3 to 4 weeks.
